Following the presentation by Phil Taylor and Tania Chalmers, 14 Members went to Converse Oval (Don McLean Reserve) to put into practice the skills and information that were gained from the presentation.
It was expected to be a cold and wet night for our light painting photo shoot at Altona Beach. Many of us rugged up with thermals, beanies, warm jackets and gumboots ready for the big wet chill, but it didn’t happen. Hardly a breath of wind, not a drop of rain and you could almost call it a balmy night. So instead of freezing we got quite toasty.

Our first Camera Club weekend for 2023 was to Port Fairy. Nineteen members and families headed down the highway looking forward to an interesting programme ranging from sunrises, exploring the town and walking out to the lighthouse on Griffiths Island as well as exploring the area.
