Members are encouraged to submit and bring along images for a group project in Image Evaluation.  In groups we will discuss the images presented and "evaluate" them providing constructing feedback. 

The aim of these evenings is to encourage reflection on our own images and to stimulate conversation about our work beyond "that looks nice" expanding on how the image makes us feel, what the maker might do to add to the image's appeal and better their and our own work.

Two of our own; Tania Chalmers and Phil Taylor; will let us in on their process of capturing stunning sports photos. They have both taken photos in a range of sports and will present on the challenges of this fast-moving genre of photography.

We'll be making use of all we learned from Tania and Phil and making some sports photos of our own at the local football club's round 14.

We will meet, eat, and drink, celebrating the year that was 2023 and present our end of year awards

As with previous years this will be held at our club rooms with catering provided. 

Cost is $18 per person for food with members encouraged to bring along drink and nibbles to share.
