Knox Monochrome Inter-Club Results

Competition was strong amongst the 8 clubs competing in this year's Knox Monochrome Inter-Club competition. Williamstown Camera Club did well picking up three placing awards.

Knox Inter-club was an eight-way inter-club of:

  • Camberwell
  • Knox
  • Maroondah
  • Mornington
  • Ringwood
  • Rosanna
  • Waverley
  • Williamstown

The Inter-club with competition categories of Novice Print, Novice EDI, Open Print and Open EDI was judged by Dwayne Eaks.

Four members of Williamstown attended the inter-club. Knox has a large membership, and with visitors from the other clubs, there were no spare seats.

Highlights for Williamstown:

  • Ron Clarke received a 3rd placing for "Black Duck in Flight" in Novice (Small) Prints category. Congratulations Ron!
  • Erika Borkoles received a 2nd placing for "Free Wheeling" in Novice EDI category. Congratulations Erika!!
  • David Male got a 3rd placing for "Ova Himba Boy" in Open (Large) Prints category. Congratulations David!

Ray Tucker's 78th birthday was celebrated following the judging.

Upcoming

Workshop: Paper Bag Challenge

We dive back into our Paper Bag Challenge. Members will break into teams and make images with a mystery item. Teams will be encouraged to take a variety of photos and amongst themselves select and edit their final entry... all in the space of a single meeting.

The images will then be presented and critiqued with a winning image selected by all in attendance.
